Adding Some Disney Magic To My Everyday Wardrobe

I wouldn’t describe my style as fashionable – but I do enjoy using clothes as a way to express how I am feeling. And if I am feeling rubbish, I love putting on an outfit that makes me feel great & look great as it instantly helps to boost my mood.

So, I have been thinking about how I can add more fun and happiness into my everyday style. Adding pops of colour or pattern to an outfit is always something that I’ve enjoyed doing and I also love a graphic tee – so I decided to combine both and try to incorporate other things that I love and enjoy into my clothing. And this is where Disney comes in.

I’ve been a Disney fan for as long as I can remember. It brings me so much joy and watching anything on Disney+ is one of my go-to self-care activities when I need a quick cheering up.

I follow some fab accounts on Instagram who share outfits like this, and I am always obsessed with everything that they wear!!

So, here is how I added some Disney magic into my everyday outfits.

Accessories

If you’re looking to be a bit more subtle with your Disney, go for Disney themed accessories. Adding accessories is always a super easy and simple way to change up an outfit.

I’ve got quite a few different Disney themed accessories – from bags, to trainers to jewellery. If I’m wanting to add just a hint of Disney, I’ll always add one of these to my outfits.

The bags are also super practical and can easily be worn with any outfit – although no one needs the amount of Disney tote bags that I own...

Pyjamas

If you want to add some Disney to your wardrobe but aren’t sure about wearing it out of the house, then Disney pyjamas may just be the one for you!

I’m the kind of person whose pyjama drawer is filled with fun, cosy novelty pyjamas. I like the idea of having ‘sexier’ pyjamas, but they generally don’t come with any support for big boobs – and I’m not wearing a bra to bed… So, Disney pyjamas it is!

Again, I probably have way more Disney pyjama’s and nighties than one girl needs…but I do love and wear them all!

Casual

I was sent this as a surprise present from my Mam a couple of months ago – and I basically haven’t taken it off ever since! I’ve been a lusting after one of these Magical Day Apparel jumpers for ages and I’m so excited to finally own one (although it has confirmed that I now want pretty much every single one of their jumpers).

Chucking on a casual sweatshirt like this is a super easy way to wear Disney everyday – especially as this one is quite subtle. I wear it with jeans & trainers, joggers & trainers, dungaree’s & trainers – basically chuck it on with a wear of trainers and something to cover your bottom half and you’re good to go.

The Up t-shirt is maybe a little less subtle – but that’s more than okay with me! This t-shirt as a slouchy feel to it, so I tend to wear it lounging around the house. But I have also worn it a few times with blue jeans.

Smart Casual

I really like this outfit! It’s a bit out of my comfort zone as this is the first time that I’ve worn a blazer. But by wearing the Mickey Mouse & Friends tee underneath, it became easier to wear – does that make any sense or is this just me?

And I felt the same when wearing the Disney bodysuit (although I’ve still not decided whether I actually like the bodysuit with the blazer) As much as blazers are out of my comfort zone; I am obsessed with this one. Popping on a smart blazer or coat always help to smarten up a more casual outfit.

I don’t need encouragement to wear the Disney pieces in my wardrobe. But it definitely helps having other things in my wardrobe which help me to wear & style them for all different occasions.
